Good Omens Quilt.
I have taken up quilting lately and saw some fabric that made me think of the ineffable duo. The following is close ups of each square plus the finished quilt.
I had to use some of the fabrics twice as I only had 16 fabrics.
Gardening fabric to represent Brother Francis.
I wanted the border to be something neutral. Doesn't really represent them.
This fabric reminded me of Aziraphale.
This fabric has lines from Macbeth on it. Not Hamlet but still Shakespeare.
This one represents the wine they share together. It is sadly not Chateauneuf du Pape.
Aziraphale's love of sushi.
A Crowley red and black tartan to go with the Aziraphale tartan.
I found this black scale fabric accidentally and thought it was perfect.
I had to include bicycles.
The nebula that Crowley helped create (sort of)
A map of Europe with the UK as central as possible.
"Oi, Shem! That unicorn's making a run for it."
A half and half of their two tartans as the center square.
The flames representing both the Bentley and the book shop.
Apples to represent Eden.
A storm representing both the great flood and the storm toward the end of the story.
Finally Crowley's house plants.
I realized that I had more Crowley fabric than Aziraphale fabric. Though a lot of it represents them both.
The completed quilt. It's not very big but none of my quilts are.
So there is my Good Omens quilt, though I guess it's mostly a Crowley and Aziraphale quilt, though lol.
